About Us

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Grenada was established in 1987 under the leadership of the now Caribbean Director and Director of YWAM Jamaica, William Landis of the USA . It was primarily a training ministry, providing the Discipleship Training School (DTS) and the School Of Mission (SOM) for the Eastern Caribbean region. In 1995 the training ministry was moved to Barbados which began the now Eastern Caribbean Centre for World Mission (ECCWM) which provides schools such as the DTS, School of Frontier Mission (SOFM), School of Biblical Studies (SBS) and more recently the Leadership Training School (LTS) to the Caribbean region.

YWAM Grenada, became a Missions Mobilizing, Family and Youth oriented ministry under the leadership of the first Caribbean leaders in the Eastern Caribbean Shamus James (St Lucia) and Sherry James (Trinidad and Tobago).
